Working our muscles during yoga
We spent our last day enjoying friends and fun! We ate popcorn and watched An American Tale then Ms. Laurel joined us for a yoga class. We finished off the day with our final music and movement class with Ms. Katie. It has been a great year and we can’t wait to see you in summer camp!

An American Tale and Popcorn
Chair Pose
Clock Pose
Ms. Laurel visited our classroom today for Yoga! We had a great time singing (of course) Tick Tock Little Yoga Clock. The kids FAVORITE song and yoga pose of all times! They worked on all of their animals poses and learned the new Chair Pose. The kids have loved using the new yoga mats and all the new songs Ms. Laurel has introduced this year during yoga!
Horse Pose
We started using our new Yoga mats this week and we love them! Children can gain enormous benefits from yoga. Our yoga program encourages children to be children. This is so very important in the academic world we live in today. During yoga class they have the opportunity to imitate animals and nature through music and movement. Children love to use their imaginations, create and explore. Yoga gives them an opportunity to use their imaginations as they relax, play and dance. It also encourages their natural abilities and interests, while helping them to develop strength, flexibility and an overall sense of well being.
