For the month of December the Early 3’s are working hard to recognize the letters B and E. We have been singing the letter B and E songs, talking about whose name contains these letters, and doing lots of fun activities to immerse ourselves in the letters. One of our favorite activities was stamping the letters on paper using blocks and paint!
The early 3’s will be learning to identify the letters “B” and “E” this month. They worked on saying the name of the letter and sorting them into labeled baskets.

Some Native American Tribes used to use a decorated feather during meetings and discussions to allow everyone a chance to speak their mind without being interrupted. The children had a chance to try it out during small groups and take their own feather home.
We worked on the sight word, some, this week in reading groups. We also learned about the different types of homes that Native Americans lived in long ago.
The Early 3’s had fun figuring out ways to put glitter on their fireflies. They poured glitter, pinched glitter, even dipped their fireflies in a pile of glitter. No matter which way they chose to “glitter” their fireflies, they got them nice and bright!
