To celebrate Halloween this week, we had all Halloween-themed activities! We did Halloween art projects, played Halloween games, had spooky snacks, and of course–COSTUMES! We had so much fun celebrating Halloween with our friends. Have a safe and happy Halloween, from the Creative Tots Toddler Room!
Our theme this month is scary cute… MONSTERS! We read “Go Away Big Green Monster” and our toddler friends are already starting to make monsters of their own!
We also have lego-eating monsters. Our lego-eating monsters are used to teach our toddlers to match the color of the lego, with the color of the monster. With feeding the monsters, our friends are learning how to sort colors, use fine motor skills, and take turns!
Witches Stew, witches stew, who will make some witches stew?

Today for snack the toddlers created their very own “mummy pizza!”
First, they spooned on the pizza sauce.
Next, they added strips of string cheese.
Then we baked them for five to seven minutes at 400 degrees.
Finally, after adding eyes it was time to eat!
