Ms. Sarah was off on one of her adventures and found this Praying Mantis!!!

We learned it only has one ear…and it’s located on it’s bottom.

It was FAST when we took it out of the Mason Jar!

Since we couldn’t keep it for a pet, we all wanted to color one to take home.

WELCOME TO PRESCHOOL PREP!!!

They had fun trying out all of the new centers:

We all have cubbies with our names!
We hang our backpacks by the top “Magic Loop.”

Our Sensory Tub looks just like a pond!  There are a lot of frogs hiding the blue water and green grass.

Our Fine Motor Center helps to make our tiny finger muscles STRONG.

The Dramatic Play Center is a Vet Clinic!  We like to work with our friends and care for the animals.

Today at Flour Child Bake Shop we learned, if you give a cat a cupcake,  he would ask for some sprinkles.

We had such a fun time at camp. Thanks to everyone for coming out!

Today we baked and iced cookies!

First, we rolled out the dough.

Then as the cookies baked we made our icing.  We added a stick of butter,

some confectioners sugar,

a little bit of vanilla,

and mixed.

Then we added food coloring and made some fun colors.

This week we will be working with rolling pins, cupcake liners, ice cream scoops, measuring spoons, cookie cutters, hand mixers, decorative sprinkles and much much more.
