We continued to review our lowercase letters today as we played Don’t Spill the Letters! A fun way to practice out letter recognition skills.
Today for art, the toddlers painted a piece of paper as big as the table. Some toddlers loved the feel of the glitter paint on their fingers, while others loved painting with the paintbrush!
Today we learned how to use team tags for our small groups. We have three groups that rotate…when the chimes ring, the children move to the next “station”. Today we focused on learning how to transition, and at each station we learned how to play at a specific center.
The children that transfer over from the preschool room to the Early 3’s class helped model how to use the clips to play at a center. They had to show the group how to take the clip off the center tag, clip it on to the bottom of their shirt, play at the center, then return the clip to the center tag.
We used foil and pipe cleaners to build a piece of a robot. Then we worked together to build a BIG ROBOT. Everyone in our class brings a special part to our day!

This month’s theme is transportation in the toddler room.
We had a transportation sensory tub full of vehicles, colored corn, road signs, stop lights and more!
We also worked on our fine motor skills with our car wash discovery tub!
