Today for snack the toddlers created their very own “mummy pizza!”
First, they spooned on the pizza sauce.
Next, they added strips of string cheese.
Then we baked them for five to seven minutes at 400 degrees.
Finally, after adding eyes it was time to eat!

This week we began our Halloween celebration by reading “Go Away Big Green Monster” by Ed Emberley. After we read the story, the children and I looked through the book and step-by-step drew our own big, green monster. We talked about colors, curvy lines vs. straight lines, and shapes. This was a great interactive reading activity, and the children were very engaged in the whole process.
We also painting “magic” spider webs. I drew webs with white crayon on white paper, and the children had to discover the secret picture by painting over it with black paint.
Creative Tots has specialized in the private education of both toddlers and preschool age children for over 15 years. We began in the heart of Madeira and now also have a new Mason location. We are specifically designed to focus on early childhood development for children ages 18 months to 5 years.
