This afternoon the kids made themselves all cozy in the bear cave with Ms. Karen to read stories. The kids loved cuddling up around our friend “Mr. Bear” to read stories and pretend to take a LONG nap like bears do!
Today Miss Joanie took the children on a “Bear Hunt” where they went over a bridge and through the woods to get to the bear cave. They made a rhythm on their legs to the beat of their story.
Ms. Katie created a GREAT discovery table this week with fluffy snow and our names hiding through out. We had a great time searching for our names and the names of our friends.
This afternoon Evelyn was excited to play our new snowball math activity. She is concentrating hard on counting the dots on the dice she rolled so she could put that many snowballs on her snowman!
This month we are exploring the forest and talking about where bears hibernate. The kids were having fun building tall trees in the forest and letting the forest animals create their homes in the cold winter snow!
