We learned about the different blankets that are made in Mexico during small groups today. We designed and decorated our own Mexican style blanket with Ms. Barbara and read Pretty Blankets by Bruce Larkin during reading groups. As a special treat we we visited Bruce Larkin’s website and listened to him read his book to us as we watched the animation. We were introduced to three new sight words today, this, on, and has. These words are found in our new book for the week. We reviewed these words along with our previous words in a fun game of Bingo. We also found a few of our animal friends we have been learning about on our Bingo Cards. Keep reviewing the sight words during homework time!
One of our very special friends in Pre-K brought his favorite book and read it to us for his show and share day…Nice Work!
