Throughout the month of April, the Toddlers will be learning about things that fly. We will talk bugs, birds, airplanes, and rockets. All of our centers have been switched out to match our new theme! We even have a few bumble bees hanging from our ceiling. The boys and girls have enjoyed exploring their new room!
This is a great way to practice one-to-one correspondence with your preschooler at home. Use any blocks or legos and masking tape to create a fun and extremely helpful counting game. The more practice the better when it comes to learning numbers!
The Early 3’s got creative decorating eggs last week! They used yarn to paint the eggs! Check out what a cool effect it had on the eggs.
Any time your preschooler has the opportunity to count individual objects is wonderful practice. Encourage your little one to count anything and everything!
The preschoolers matched colors and shapes while strengthening their fine motor muscles today. Building strong fine motor skills helps develop the handwriting process.
This week the Toddlers are learning about the letter “I” during group time. To further the lesson, the boys and girls painted with colored ice cubes! It was a fun and messy new way to paint!
The Toddlers are having a blast exploring at the sensory tub this month. It is filled with (Easter) grass, tongs, and lots of bugs! The boys and girls used their fine motor skills to pull out the insects hidden in the grass. They love to tell us about all of the different bugs they find!
