This week the kids have been exploring moon sand in the sensory table! The moon sand is special because it can be underwater without getting wet! They really enjoyed squeezing it and driving their space cars in it.
Join us this Friday, Febuary 12th for our annual celebration of Valentine’s Day with Creative Tots Special Person’s night. Each preschooler is encouraged to invite one person that is very special to them to help celebrate this special day. We will make a craft, share some fun together with friends and make a valentines day card. The kids are always excited to see the chocolate fountain make an appearance and quickly realize that even the best snacks taste better covered in cocoa.
Our friend Lily, the budding architect, tried her hand at constructing her own Great Wall of China on this great snowy day! Nice work Lily!
Today during group time, Carson put on his special astronaut suit to show everyone. The kids were so excited to see a real space suit!
We have been talking about rocketships blasting into space and doing many countdowns as a class! This afternoon we experimented with a balloon, straw, and piece of string during group time. We asked the question “what do you think will happen if I blew up this balloon attached to the straw and then let it go?”
