In order to help them figure out which footprint went with each animal, we looked at the words underneath each card to see if they matched.
This week in the sensory table the children are enjoying cold snow that doesn’t melt! Within this magical snow, there are letters that the kids have to hunt for! This is a great way for them to practice letter recognition while also getting their hands messy and enjoying the snow!
Using magnetic letters we built the sight words we found in our books from reading groups this week, My Home Is.
Our Tuesday Class had a great time printing their own snow flakes and adding a bit of sparkle! They are a great of addition to the winter wonderland in our classroom!
