Makin’ Some Waves

The Early 3’s know what ingredients you need for a good time! They made waves that they can keep forever in a plastic bottle. All you need it a water bottle with blue food coloring, some cool glitter and a little vegetable oil. Oh, and a good strong arm to shake the bottle and make the waves!

Car Wash!

Winter is over…that can only mean its a great time to wash your cars…no matter how big or little! The Early 3’s had a blast getting to wash our toy cars in a giant bucket of soap. This is a great fine motor exercise because we use our tiny hand muscles to squeeze the soap out of the sponges!

You can’t have a fish theme without going fishing! The Early 3’s used fishing poles with suction cups to pick up card board fish! Who got the catch of the day?

Glow Stick Dance Party!

The Toddlers had a blast dancing to the music this week. We turned off the lights and jumped around wearing our glow stick necklaces. The pictures are a little blurry but you can see how much we were groovin’ and movin’!!

Small Groups!

This week during small groups the children practiced pouring goldfish from a cup to a bowl. We talked about math, science, and volume. The boys and girls also took turns painting fish as the easel blue (color of the month).

Letter of the Week!

This week the Toddlers marble painted the letter Z. They rolled the marbles back and forth to make the zebra’s stripes!

The Scaly Fish
